Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions aligned to business needs.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or architecture, with proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and lakehouse architecture.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing robust data models, flows, and storage using Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL
  • Managing master data with Profisee software
  • Integrating data from APIs and external systems into the Azure ecosystem
  • Troubleshooting performance issues and fine-tuning data pipelines

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data privacy, security, and API integration, as well as hands-on experience with SSAS (tabular & OLAP models), MDX, and DAX.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or architecture
  • Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and lakehouse architecture
  • Master data management using Profisee software
  • Management of data estate using Purview software
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services: ADF, Fabric, Synapse, Data Lake, Purview, etc.
  • Experience with master data management (Profisee preferred)
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and API integration
  • Hands-on experience with SSAS (tabular & OLAP models), MDX, and DAX
