Job Title: Financial Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Leader with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing agency finances, project-based accounting, and revenue recognition. A solid understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reporting, cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and expense tracking for the agency.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop financial strategies to support business growth and improve profitability.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including timely and accurate compensation for employees and contractors.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Ensure tax compliance, including sales tax, payroll, and corporate filings.
  • Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Payroll management experience, including processing payroll, tax compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience managing agency finances, project-based accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with high attention to detail.
  • CPA or relevant financial certifications are a plus.
