Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator Manager to join our team at AXA Philippines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our databases to ensure they are secure, available, and performing optimally.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement new database systems and architectures.
  2. Develop and maintain database standards and best practices.
  3. Optimize database performance and resolve performance-related issues.
  4. Monitor and maintain database security and integrity.
  5. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  6. Perform database backup and recovery operations.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Graduated from a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration.
  3. Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
  4. Experience with Azure cloud database services.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Experience with NoSQL is a plus.
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
