Portfolio Manager - Operations Excellence

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead our operations excellence initiatives, ensuring the delivery of IT modernization plans across multiple countries.

  • Job Description:

This role requires a proactive and curious nature, with the ability to be self-sufficient within a small team while supporting cross-functional teams in a complex organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Prioritization and Alignment: Facilitate the assessment and prioritization of IT projects based on organization's strategies, business impact, and resource availability.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all projects contribute to the organization's overall strategy and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with defined strategic goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in portfolio management.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, with proven experience in managing projects governance at the group level.
  • Experience in SDLC, PMO, project prioritization, project governance, portfolio management, resource allocation, stakeholder management, performance metrics, strategic planning, project management tools, portfolio management software, communication skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Jira.
