Job Title

This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of credit policies, ensuring that they are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and policy formulation, with experience in credit risk management and regulatory compliance. They should also possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Credit Policy Development:
    • Formulate and implement credit policies that align with the organization's overall strategy and risk appetite.
  • Credit Risk Management:
    • Develop and maintain credit risk models to ensure accurate assessments of potential risks associated with lending activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure that all credit policies and procedures comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business units, risk management, and audit, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of credit policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, preferably with postgraduate studies in finance or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in policy formulation and/or credit-related functions, with significant exposure in the credit cycle for business loans.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
