Financial Clerk
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Clerk to join our team. As a Financial Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and entering invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
This is a full-time, dedicated role that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and enter invoices in compliance with Australian accounting standards
- Manage commission payments for sales representatives
- Prepare and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets with formulas
- Handle payroll processing in accordance with Australian laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Generate monthly financial reports to ensure accurate tracking of expenses and revenues
- Oversee debt collection processes to minimize outstanding balances
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting to inform business decisions
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in MYOB Premier or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Excel, including use of formulas and pivot tables
- Proven experience with Australian payroll and tax laws
- Experience preparing BAS and monthly financial reports
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
