Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve technical support requests in line with established SLAs, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Troubleshoot technical and user issues across multiple platforms, logging feedback and suggesting enhancements.
  • Maintain and update technical support documentation, onboarding guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Assist with onboarding new staff, including access setup and application introductions.
  • Monitor system performance, coordinate with vendors or contractors, and ensure service continuity.
  • Support testing and rollout of system updates or new features, ensuring relevant documentation is updated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, share knowledge, and promote a consistent user experience.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to process or system improvements to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in technical support or service desk.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of: Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform), ERP/CRM suites, Azure AD, and ticketing systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assist users at varying technical skill levels.
  • Knowledge of access control, privacy obligations, and secure data handling practices.
