Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security assurance programs to meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure seamless documentation and response processes during external audits
  • Conduct thorough assessments of security controls and identify gaps for remediation and improvement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks, influencing the organization's security strategy and policies
Essential Skills:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in information security, specializing in security assurance and compliance (HIPAA experience highly preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of various security frameworks, including HITRUST CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, etc.
  • Proven track record in managing external audit engagements, encompassing preparation, facilitation, and follow-up activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective assessment and implementation of complex security solutions
