Job Summary

  • The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer designs, deploys and manages scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The role ensures secure, compliant and resilient infrastructure by leveraging best practices in infrastructure as code, DevOps automation and robust authentication and access controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM and Load Balancing.
  2. Develop, maintain and optimize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring state management and version control.
  3. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to automate infrastructure deployment, testing and monitoring.
  4. Deploy and manage VPN servers (e.g., OpenVPN, IPSec, GCP-native VPN) to provide secure remote access for cloud and on-premises environments.
  5. Implement and manage authentication and access controls, including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC and identity federation integrated with cloud IAM.
  6. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance issues, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant and resilient infrastructure.
  8. Support enterprise-scale application environments with knowledge of application architecture, deployment and operational models.
