We are seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to support our team with various accounting tasks and provide excellent staff assistance.
About the Role- This position involves preparing annual financial statements, income tax returns, GST returns, and monthly Profit & Loss reports.
- You will also be responsible for processing pay runs for payroll clients and assisting other staff members with queries and covering duties when required.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and returns.
- Process pay runs and maintain payroll records.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to colleagues.
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by reporting hazardous risks.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with general office work and basic accounting principles.
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software and systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
