University Outreach Specialist

The University Outreach Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the launch of a platform empowering students with celiac disease to navigate college dining and campus living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research key contacts at top universities, including campus dietitians, dining services directors, student wellness coordinators, and disability services staff.
  • Verify contact information and update outreach databases for efficient communication.
  • Prioritize outreach efforts based on university rankings and strategic importance.
Outreach and Communication Strategies:
  • Conduct professional phone calls to schedule video interviews with confirmed contacts.
  • Send personalized email outreach using provided templates and follow up consistently on initial attempts.
  • Maintain warm and professional communication that represents the platform's mission.
Interview Coordination and Scheduling:
  • Encourage 15-20 minute video interviews with confirmed contacts using automated scheduling tools.
  • Cross-coordinate across time zones and university schedules while ensuring calendar accuracy.
Data Management and Analysis:
  • Maintain detailed outreach trackers with all contact attempts in CRM systems.
  • Update contact information, interview status, and detailed notes for data accuracy.
Target Objectives:
  • Contact and secure interviews with the top 100 U.S. colleges and universities (Phase 1).
  • Expand outreach to the next 250 institutions by Phase 2.
  • Reach 1,000 universities by year-end.
