Electrical Revit Modeler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Revit Modeler to deliver high-quality Revit models, structural details, and coordinated drawings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Autodesk Revit, Autocad, and Microstation, as well as advanced skills in Navisworks and associated coordination packages.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, delivering accurate results, and will have experience with CDEs, such as ProjectWise and ACC.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Integrated Project Deliverables
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the model, documentation, and project deliverables
  • Coordinating Designs with Various Disciplines
  • Mentoring peers and providing technical documentation, modeling, and engineering advice
  • Undertaking drawing reviews and model audits utilizing tools such as Bluebeam, Autodesk Navisworks, ACC etc.
  • Troubleshooting issues and supporting technical team members
  • Leading Coordination and Collaboration

You will bring to the team:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience using Autodesk Revit, Autocad & Microstation
  • Advanced skills in Navisworks and associated coordination packages
  • An ability to work independently, delivering accurate results
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the Building Service and Electrical sector
  • Electrical design experience, including single line diagram, schematics, panel GA, cable and termination schedule
  • Experience with CDE's e.g ProjectWise, ACC
  • Cable and termination schedule, Control panel design
  • Electrical fitting and wiring of control panel, field cable termination
  • Knowledge and experience of substation design primary and secondary drafting, instrumentation and control of pump station and electrical and sprinkler system design of residential and commercial buildings
  • Knowledge of Australian Building Codes & Standards
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of ISO19650 principles
