Inventory Management Lead

The Inventory Management Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic planning, monitoring, and optimization of inventory across client accounts. This position ensures that stock levels are aligned with sales forecasts and supply capabilities, minimizing stockouts and overstocks while supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

  • This includes leading demand forecasting and replenishment planning using sales trends and historical data, analyzing inventory health (e.g., critical levels, overstock, out-of-stock risks) across SKUs, and aligning inventory planning with marketing campaigns, promotions, and client seasonality.
  • The successful candidate will also recommend inventory actions such as reorders, markdowns, or marketing push for slow-moving items, oversee inbound PO calendar and supply planning accuracy, and develop and maintain reporting dashboards for inventory KPIs.
  • Collaboration with clients, sales, and logistics is essential to align inventory plans with operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demand Forecasting: Utilize sales trends and historical data to inform demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
  • Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory health across SKUs, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Inventory Planning: Align inventory planning with marketing campaigns, promotions, and client seasonality to maximize sales potential.
  • Inventory Actions: Recommend and implement inventory actions such as reorders, markdowns, or marketing push for slow-moving items.
  • Supply Planning: Oversee inbound PO calendar and supply planning accuracy to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for inventory KPIs to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning or demand forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or 3PL operations is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
