Job Title: Business Technology Solutions Expert

The role of the Business Technology Solutions Expert involves collaborating with project managers to ensure well-defined project scopes and timely tracking. This position requires effective communication skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a willingness to collaborate as part of a self-organizing Scrum team within a scaled agile framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with assigned project managers to ensure well-defined project scopes and timely tracking
  • Document requirements for IT systems, enhancements, and features implementation
  • Evaluate existing business solutions, identify opportunities, and develop strategies for maximum impact
  • Facilitate or support meetings to gather requirements from business users and stakeholders
  • Review documents from business users and stakeholders as input to requirements gathering activities
  • Write Business Requirements Documents for project development and testing phases
  • Write Business Process Documents for post-implementation changes in processes
  • Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix for proper tracking and validation of delivered requirements and features
  • Promptly manage defects from reporting to verification and closure
  • Translate Business Requirements into test cases
  • Assist users in clarifying requirements and defining acceptance criteria for automated system testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience in performing Business Analysis in Software Engineering or Software Testing
  • Hands-on experience with Bug Tracking tools such as Jira, Mantis, or BugZilla
  • Good understanding of the project lifecycle, documentation, standards, and methodologies
  • Experience in writing Business Requirements, Business Process Documents, and Requirement Traceability Matrix
  • Experience in defining and documenting process workflows for system implementation
  • Experience in writing test plans, test cases, test execution, and test reporting
