Senior Assurance Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a senior assurance professional to join our team. As a key member of our assurance group, you will be responsible for leading engagements through all phases of the audit process with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the firm's core values and service standards are upheld.
  • Research and analyze financial statement issues using electronic sources and software.
  • Contribute to the assurance workflow by identifying, analyzing, and articulating problems and opportunities.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of company operations to assess internal controls and provide value-added solutions.
  • Effectively communicate timely results internally and externally on project and client information.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients.
  • Carry moderately complex tasks through to completion.
  • Supervise and coach staff and interns on detailed engagements.
  • Stay up-to-date with computer software applications and promote efficient use of time.
  • Develop an understanding of the economics of job performance and Firm operation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • Compliance with the 150 hour rule and/or a CPA certification.
  • Two to four years recent public accounting experience.
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and industry-specific rules.
  • Experience with a paperless auditing application is preferred.
