Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications and computer systems

  • Detect software failures to identify defects and facilitate correction
  • Maintain an issues log, documenting problems and their resolution
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to set up and operate test environments
  • Work closely with the development team to plan code migrations against test activity progress
  • Analyze project requirements to inform product risk assessments
  • Perform thorough risk identification and analysis
  • Establish a test strategy and develop complex test approaches
  • Ensure effective staffing and capacity planning
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in test planning and design, with a proven track record of success
  • Supervisory or managerial experience, with a focus on leading high-performing teams
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycles and various testing methodologies
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Prior experience with banking applications or packaged applications is highly desirable
