We are seeking a skilled Store Cashier to join our team. As a Store Cashier, you will be responsible for performing basic math functions to collect payments and make change, operating registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals, balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales, accepting payments and ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate, and providing receipts to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course, sufficient background in cashiering with POS experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess bachelor's degree (on Business course or any 4 year course)
  • Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
  • Has the ability to provide quality customer service
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry
  • Average communication and people skills
  • Computer literate
