Job DescriptionSenior Secretariat Specialist
  • Manage remuneration reviews for Management and the Board of Directors
  • Facilitate communication between the Board, Management, and departments on strategic matters
  • Advise on governance matters and prepare briefing notes and other documents
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Secretary and Assistant Secretary in providing information to the Board
  2. Prepare and review briefing notes, talking points, memos, correspondences, statements/remarks, meeting minutes, and Board documents
  3. Prepare summaries of Board meetings for uploading on the Board Comments Tracker
  4. Oversee the election and appointment processes for the President and Vice-Presidents
  5. Manage the review of remuneration for the Board and the President
  6. Provide secretariat support to the Committee on Remuneration of the Board of Governors
  7. Oversee the salary review process for Vice-Presidents and provide advice to the Board
  8. Organize the eVoting process for Board resolutions
  9. Manage the application and voting process for new memberships
  10. Respond to queries on operations and procedures
  11. Monitor and follow up on issues raised by the Board during Board meetings
  12. Lead reporting staff and provide guidance, performance monitoring, feedback, and development opportunities
RequirementsQualifications
  • Masters degree in economics, business management, communications or related fields
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with experience in corporate governance
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
