Chief Legal Officer - Energy Division

We are seeking an experienced Chief Legal Officer to lead our energy division and provide strategic legal guidance on regulatory and commercial matters.

The successful candidate will ensure that the company complies with regulatory and legal requirements, specifically with the rules and regulations issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) and the Department of Energy (DOE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic legal guidance on regulatory and commercial matters;
  • Leading a team of lawyers and supporting staff to provide legal support and advisory services;
  • Developing and implementing compliance programs to mitigate risks associated with energy projects;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and development;

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB)/ Juris Doctor (JD);
  • A license to practice law in the Philippines;
  • At least 8 years of experience in a law office or equivalent experience in government and the energy industry;
  • Experience in regulatory requirements of ERC and DOE;
  • Knowledge and understanding of EPC and corporate law;
  • A high degree of professional ethics and integrity;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
