
Billing Operations Manager

A Billing Operations Manager oversees the entire billing process, from subscription setup to month-end close. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in billing and accounts receivable in a SaaS or subscription business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Subscription Lifecycle: Handle new subscriptions, plan changes, prorations, cancellations, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.
- Dispute Representment: Prepare and submit evidence packets to banks/card networks to protect company revenue.
- Billing Workflows: Execute and maintain billing workflows in HubSpot, including automation of tickets and cross-team communication.
- Month-End Close: Support AR aging reports, reconciliations, and cash collection forecasting.
- Delinquency Investigation: Analyze root cause, adjust accounts, and handle outbound collections calls/emails when needed.
- 3+ years of hands-on billing and accounts receivable experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
- Stripe Subscriptions Expertise: Proven expertise with Stripe Subscriptions (not just invoice/payment processing).
- Dispute Representment Expert: Direct experience preparing and submitting dispute representment evidence to banks/payment processors.
- HubSpot Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HubSpot for AR/billing workflows.
- Collections Outreach: Familiarity with collections outreach (calls + email), but with a bias toward solving the process and data issues behind delinquency.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliations, AR aging, and reporting.
