Senior Full Stack Developer Position

This is a senior-level full stack developer role that demands extensive experience in modern software development and coding standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement architecture that adheres to current coding standards.
  • Lead the development of various projects, collaborating closely with designers and other developers using an effective buddy system.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders involved in the project and provide hands-on development as well as code reviews.
  • Offer suggestions and improvements on current and future project flow.
Requirements:
  • Experience with frontend frameworks outside of jQuery, preferably AngularJS and/or ReactJS.
  • Backend: Node.js (websockets / restful API) with knowledge of GraphQL API highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript with TypeScript.
  • Tooling: GitHub + GitHub Flow.
  • Full Project Life Cycle experience.
  • Strong grasp of MVC Frameworks and how to architect and develop them.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
  • 5 years combined experience with front-end and back-end development.
  • Deep understanding of programming conventions and modern coding standards.
  • DevOps experience with Netlify, AWS/Linux, Heroku, and Firebase, with AWS knowledge a significant plus.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Passion for technology.
  • A self-starter who can develop web-based applications from specification to delivery.
  • Portfolio of own work – contributor to the online community (Stack Overflow / GitHub).
