Remote Medical Biller/ AR Expert

The Medical Biller/ Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the billing and revenue cycle management team from a remote setting. To excel in this position, applicants should have hands-on experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management, with a solid understanding of Prompt EMR and Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies electronically and on paper for prompt payment.
- Enter payments from insurance companies and patients into the electronic medical record system efficiently.
- Verify patient accounts and identify discrepancies or payment issues that require attention.
- Pursue unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims with insurance companies to ensure timely resolution.
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies found.
- Maintain an organized accounts receivable system and generate regular aging reports as needed.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure seamless revenue collection and smooth workflow.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management.
- Familiarity with Prompt EMR and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, coupled with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic remote environment.
