Machine Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced machine shop supervisor to oversee the daily work of machinists.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and supervise machinists' daily tasks, ensuring efficiency and productivity
  • Evaluate accomplishment reports of machinists, providing constructive feedback for improvement
  • Manage mould development schedules, prioritizing deadlines and resource allocation
  • Evaluate fabricated moulds for quality and precision
  • Develop and implement rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and safety standards
  • Perform assigned duties with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to create the daily machine schedule, providing feedback on feasibility, flow, and operator capacity
  • Ensure all machines operate according to the daily schedule and objectives, maintaining optimal performance
  • Mentor and train machinists, including goal setting, reviews, and annual performance evaluations
  • Configure and maintain machines, adjusting settings and performing calibration as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry, preferably in a close tolerance manufacturing environment
  • Knowledgeable in drafting and design principles
  • Dynamic and metric-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills
