Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to join our team. This role involves general accounting duties with a strong focus on managing accounts receivable, utilizing Xero to maintain accurate financial records and handle client communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general bookkeeping, including data entry and bank reconciliation.
  • Assist with financial reporting and basic analysis.
  • Handle accounts payable and support tax compliance documentation (preferred).
  • Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams.

Core Expertise: Accounts Receivable Management

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable process (invoicing to reconciliation).
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain AR ledgers.
  • Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices.
  • Handle client queries regarding payments and terms.
  • Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards.
  • Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows.

Requirements:

  • Around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong background in accounts receivable processes (AU experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Xero.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams.
  • Strong English skills (verbal and written).
