Financial Management Professional Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial management professional to manage day-to-day accounting, job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction estimating and be able to support budgeting and cost control efforts on projects.

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Perform job costing and track expenses by project
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and vendor payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
  • Prepare financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets
  • Assist with estimating by reviewing plans, material take-offs, and subcontractor bids
  • Support project managers with budget tracking and cost-to-complete analysis
  • Manage payroll and ensure compliance with construction labor laws

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction
  • Knowledge of construction accounting and job costing is required
  • Experience with estimating processes, bids, or take-offs is a strong plus
  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Buildertrend)
  • Strong Excel and data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
