Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Are you a seasoned project manager looking to take on new challenges in the construction industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to lead our construction projects from inception to completion.

This is a remote position based in Minneapolis, MN, USA, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Central Time, including a one-hour unpaid break.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee construction projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, bid preparation, and project timelines.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and budgets, addressing risks and issues.
  • Manage subcontractors, laborers, and materials to ensure timely progress.
  • Monitor and report on project status, resolving delays or issues.
  • Manage project schedules, scope, and inspections required by authorities.
  • Utilize project management software for task management and reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Handle financial aspects such as estimating, change orders, and project closeout.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in construction or project management, or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in residential construction, particularly townhouses, single-family homes, and small apartments.
  • Effective communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Ability to prepare and track project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player willing to work in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil plans.
  • Experience with construction estimating and takeoffs.
