This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in estimating folding carton packaging projects. As a Carton Packaging Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating folding carton jobs, coupled with knowledge of printing processes and packaging material specifications. You will be responsible for analyzing packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities to determine the most effective manufacturing requirements.

You will work closely with sales, production, and design teams to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality results. Additionally, you will maintain and update pricing databases and Excel-based estimate sheets to support efficient decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate Costs: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects.
  • Analyze Specifications: Examine packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with sales, production, and design teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain Pricing Databases: Update and maintain pricing databases and Excel-based estimate sheets to support efficient decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects is essential.
  • Printing Processes: Working knowledge of printing processes (offset printing, color matching, etc.) is necessary.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • Mathematical Abilities: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
