Bookkeeper & Data Entry Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper and Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and processing payroll.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in bookkeeping, data entry, and payroll processing. You should also be proficient in using Zoho Books and other finance applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter financial transactions into Zoho Books and maintain accurate records
  • Process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
  • Assist in generating financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and payroll regulations
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and end-of-year financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Payroll Specialist, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, or other Zoho finance applications
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information with integrity
