Software Architect for Data Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data team at the forefront of technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing large-scale data infrastructure, including cloud computing and data processing workflows.
The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and extending our cloud infrastructure for data ingestion, collaborating with scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and quality, and delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power next-generation models.
This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with our AI Team and Leadership to craft the dataset roadmap to power consumer and enterprise products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new sources of audio data and integrate them into our ingestion pipeline
- Architect and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform
- Collaborate closely with our Scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and quality, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power next-generation models
- Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Leadership to craft the dataset roadmap to power consumer and enterprise products
