Job Overview

TASQ Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing new adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and proprietary sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research new TTPs using OSINT research and proprietary sources
  • Identify and analyze threat leads to determine their relevance and impact
  • Author Insikt Notes detailing identified threat leads, including a combination of information from open-source reporting and your own analysis
  • Analyze malware samples associated with threat leads using sandbox environments and static analysis tools
  • Create malware or vulnerability detections that can be used for threat hunting, detection, and classification

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical writing and malware analysis
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and OSINT research
  • Scripting knowledge and experience creating malware detections (e.g., YARA, Sigma, Snort)
  • Experience working with sandboxes, virtual machines, or other malware analysis tools
