About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team at TASQ Staffing Solutions. As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing new adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and proprietary sources.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research new TTPs using OSINT research and proprietary sources
  2. Identify and analyze threat leads to determine their relevance and impact
  3. Author Insikt Notes detailing identified threat leads, including a combination of information from open-source reporting and your own analysis
  4. Analyze malware samples associated with threat leads using sandbox environments and static analysis tools
  5. Create malware or vulnerability detections that can be used for threat hunting, detection, and classification

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical writing and malware analysis
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and OSINT research
  • Scripting knowledge and experience creating malware detections (e.g., YARA, Sigma, Snort)
  • Experience working with sandboxes, virtual machines, or other malware analysis tools
