Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Student Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to students, fostering their success in achieving their learning goals.

  • You will proactively address student concerns by making thoughtful suggestions and taking appropriate actions to resolve issues effectively.
  • You will direct students to appropriate company resources, ensuring they have access to relevant tools, policies, and support services.
  • You will assist with the general orientation of new students, providing guidance on company policies, processes, and available resources.
  • You will review, interpret, and evaluate student data and metrics to identify at-risk students and provide tailored advice and interventions.
  • You will encourage and guide students to build accountability for their decisions and understand the impact of their actions on their academic success.
  • You will maintain accurate and thorough records of student interactions and relevant data as required.
About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position that requires shift work, including evenings and weekends. Shift hours for this role operate on a 24/7 schedule to ensure continuous support and coverage.

Qualifications
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • You have strong attention to detail, coupled with exceptional analytical and investigative skills.
  • You are able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • You have outstanding multitasking and prioritization abilities to manage competing demands efficiently.
  • You are committed to teamwork and collaboration, particularly in a remote working environment.
  • You have basic knowledge of IT concepts and tools, with the ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • You have 2 years of experience in Customer Service Industry (Email and Chat).
  • You have prior experience working remotely.
  • You have experience working with customer service ticket system.
