About the Role

Are you a seasoned campaigner with experience navigating risks? We're seeking a Senior Associate to join our Global Risk Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Risk Manager and Risk Associate to embed strong risk practices within the design and delivery of time-sensitive and impactful campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the role as Meliore expands its risk management operations. You will report directly to the Risk Manager, who in turn reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with campaigns in various phases of design and delivery to provide a risk management lens.
  • Provide guidance and feedback related to campaign materials/direction to internal teams and partners, focusing on compliance and safety risks.
  • Assist with determining the appropriate path for escalation of high-risk activity, in collaboration with the Risk Manager and Executive teams.
  • Support teams in undertaking risk identification, assessment, and monitoring for projects during planning and implementation.
  • Review current policies and procedures to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Operationalize and support internal governance processes that relate to managing campaign risks.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in campaigns and risk management, ideally in an international organization or one with a global footprint; non-profit and/or communications experience is considered a plus.
  • Strong cross-cultural experience and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an asynchronous environment.
  • A strong understanding of risk management methodologies and willingness to adapt these skills to suit the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels and effectively communicate and manage interpersonal relationships within the network and Risk team.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional languages being an asset.
  • A genuine interest in addressing climate change.
