Senior Credit Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to play a key role in monitoring loan covenants, financial spreading, risk rating, and credit reviews. This position requires expertise in analyzing financial statements and inputting data into various credit analysis systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Analysis:
    • Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements of public and private companies.
    • Input required data into various credit analysis systems.
  • Loan Agreement Review:
    • Screen loan agreements and understand the financial covenants applicable to the borrower.
  • Reporting and Research:
    • Prepare reports for lending teams on overdue ratings, covenants, and financials.
    • Conduct background research independently to understand drivers that guide various sectors.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with peers and management teams.
    • Communicate effectively with managers and global teams across Wholesale Banking.
    Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting and relevant experience in corporate or institutional lending.
    • Solid understanding of financial statements of companies.
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
