Unlocking Data Potential

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our squad.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, SQL, and functional and non-functional testing. They should also be able to define test cases and perform actual tests.

In addition, they should have experience with test automation, preferably for back-end items, and data processing techniques.

They should also be proficient in data modeling in relational databases, especially Oracle RDBMS, tables, views, indexing, tuning, and data types.

The successful candidate will work on developing high-performance solutions using best practices and complete full test cycles before implementation.

They will also use CI/CD pipelines to implement solutions and communicate with stakeholders to analyze needs and design solutions accordingly.

About the Role:

This role involves analyzing requirements, performing technical feasibility studies, developing integrations using SQL, and being a technical advisor for production issues.

The candidate will also assist in developing testing automation strategies, carry out unit tests and system integration testing, and support audits with documentation and proofs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance solutions with best practices on tools used
  • Complete full test cycle before implementation
  • Use CI/CD pipeline to implement solution
  • Communicate with stakeholders to analyze and understand need and design solution accordingly
  • Use advanced SQL query language to support data integration
  • Support other squad members whenever needed with your experience and knowledge

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
  2. SQL
  3. Functional and non-functional testing
  4. Definition of test cases and performing actual tests
  5. Experience with test automation, preferably for back-end items
  6. Data processing techniques
  7. Data modeling in relational databases
  8. Experience on Oracle RDBMS, tables, views, indexing, tuning, and data types

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience in a complex, corporate environment
  2. Experience in lending business
  3. Track record in building larger corporate systems
  4. Understanding of object-oriented programming language
  5. Linux (bash) scripting capabilities
  6. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher
  7. Agile / Scrum methodologies
  8. CI / CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible
  9. Issue trackers like ServiceNow or Azure Boards
  10. Ability to communicate effectively and present/demo ideas and solutions
  11. Keen on documenting work
