Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and be able to design, develop, and implement robust test solutions.

The successful candidate will work independently to plan and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring that all aspects of the application are thoroughly tested. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand deeper product requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Lead the planning of testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and alignment with project goals.
  • Test Case Development: Independently design, develop, and implement automated test strategies and test cases with minimal supervision.
  • Debugging: Use debugging techniques to identify root causes of complex issues uncovered through automated testing.
  • Bug Reporting: Accurately document bugs with essential details, using the bug tracking system effectively.
  • Version Control (Git): Manage and track changes in code repositories efficiently.
  • Programming Languages: Utilize intermediate to advanced knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, TypeScript) to write test scripts or understand code for test automation.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high attention to detail to identify even minor issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze root causes of defects found during testing and make recommendations to prevent similar problems in the future.
  • Communication Skills: Report issues effectively and collaborate with the development team.
  • Automation Strategy: Identify opportunities for automation within assigned testing areas, propose enhancements to the overall automation strategy, and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in automation testing tools and best practices.
