Training and Development Specialist

The Training and Development Specialist plays a crucial role in creating and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and performance of employees.

This involves conducting training sessions, assessing training needs, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs to ensure that employees are well-equipped to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive learning and development program for Infrastructure & Operations roles, incorporating training modules for technical and process aspects.
  • Design and facilitate blended learning experiences, including on-the-job training.
  • Promote customer service focus throughout all learning and development activities.
  • Evaluate training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and outcomes.
  • Act as a resource for employees seeking guidance on training-related issues or career development.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to reinforce training concepts and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work with subject matter experts to equip staff with knowledge to train colleagues.
  • Escalate staff training concerns to team leads and/or regional managers.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance methods and standards, and conduct regular quality assurance assessments.
  • Generate reports on the effectiveness of training and engage managers to highlight knowledge/skill gaps.
  • Conduct refresher training for knowledge gaps and new product or process roll-out.
  • Create documentation and maintain currency and accuracy of content within Learning & Knowledge Management Systems.
  • Research and develop new methods and coaching techniques to ensure effectiveness of training.
