The Backup and Recovery Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting storage and backup systems in a multi-data center environment. This includes configuring and maintaining block storage systems, implementing and maintaining storage fabrics, and supporting disaster recovery and data migration projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage storage infrastructure to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement storage strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Extensive experience in supporting and engineering hardware, operating systems, storage, and virtualization technologies in a global multi-data center enterprise.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, PowerStore, Pure, and Unity block storage systems, related technologies, and protocols.
  • In-depth experience with Cisco MDS Storage Fabrics.
  • Working knowledge of Dell EMC PowerScale (Isilon NAS) systems.
  • IBM XIV and FlashSystem knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere 7.x, 8.x and VMware Cloud Foundation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cisco UCS and Dell PowerEdge MX server hardware is a plus.
  • Experience in storage migration technology is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge across Storage, Data Center Migration, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Familiarity with risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple technology teams to achieve common goals.

Additional Information:

  • Must have advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with IT teams to resolve technical issues.
