About This Opportunity

This is an individual contributor role that can be based remotely in various locations.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Thought Leader to drive new research around tools, solutions, and technologies that can solve business challenges for clients. This research will target Supply Chain Technology Leaders and Supply Chain Planning Leaders from end-users, as well as Heads of Strategy and practice/product leaders within large services and software providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting research, writing, and advising on the changing vendor marketplace for Supply Chain Planning solutions, new technology developments, and emerging supply chain planning ecosystems, architecture, and business models.
  • Advising clients on the best options to select, implement, and execute on tools, solutions, and technologies for Supply Chain Planning to solve mission-critical priorities.
  • Providing guidance to clients on the selection of Consultants and Service Integrators for Supply Chain Planning technologies.
  • Contributing to Gartner-wide research and ideation on the evolution of current and emerging Supply Chain Planning solutions and related technologies.
  • Delivering presentations to large audiences.
  • Supporting Sales in the sales cycle.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have significant experience in developing, managing, or using supply chain planning technologies and a robust understanding of key planning processes such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning (DP), and Supply Planning (SP).

A successful candidate will possess skills and experience in areas such as:

  • Excellent writing and data visualization skills.
  • Skill in complex problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to engage and advise senior business and technology executives.
