Job Description

This is an entry-level position that involves performing various tasks at a retail store. The primary goal of this job is to ensure the smooth operation of the checkout process, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their experience.

The cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, operating registers, scanners, scales, and credit/debit card terminals. They must also maintain accurate records, balance cash drawers, and generate reports for credit and debit sales.

Additionally, the cashier will handle exchanges and refunds in a timely manner, while maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area. They must also possess strong communication skills, being able to effectively interact with customers and colleagues alike.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in a business-related field or any 4-year course.
  • Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
  • Must have the ability to provide quality customer service, being trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
  • Average communication and people skills.
