Job Summary

  • The Trust Sales Officer will be responsible for generating additional trust business volume and income for the Bank.

About the Role

The Trust Sales Officer will play a crucial role in promoting the cross-selling of trust products in branches and other cross-selling partners. This will involve identifying new opportunities and building relationships with existing clients to increase trust business volume.

Key Responsibilities

  • Soliciting and opening new trust accounts;
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans to promote trust products and services;
  • Conducting Know-Your-Client (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) depending on client's risk profile, for new accounts opened;
  • Conceptualizing, developing and launching new trust products and services in coordination with the Product Development Officer and performing product support and monitoring activities to ensure continued growth in volume.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years industry experience in any financial institution in a Marketing Officer capacity;
  • Working knowledge of the various Trust products and services and the different regulations governing the Trust business. Familiarity and exposure to Portfolio Management and Financial Markets.
