Job Opportunity

We are seeking researchers, retired researchers, and former researchers who can perform peer reviews for journals and publishers.

The ideal candidate should be able to disclose their full name and affiliations with the publishers.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area is required.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field are necessary.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are a must.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback are required.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively is expected.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity is crucial.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Assess the manuscript's novelty and whether it adds new knowledge or insights to the field of study.
  • Evaluate the study design and methodology to ensure they are appropriate, comprehensive, and clearly described.
  • Check the literature review to ensure it thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research in the field.
  • Analyze the results and conclusions to evaluate whether they are presented clearly and appropriately.
  • Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend publication based on the evaluation.
