Job Opportunity: AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of AWS DevOps Engineer. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure to power production and development environments.

You will manage and enhance our container orchestration systems, with a focus on Kubernetes (EKS), while maintaining a balanced view of other critical AWS services such as EC2, ALB, IAM, and VPC networking.

You will build and maintain automation for application and infrastructure deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management. You will also partner with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deploy processes.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation. You will also participate in architecture reviews and help guide decisions on infrastructure design, resilience, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure
  • Manage and enhance container orchestration systems
  • Build and maintain automation for application and infrastructure deployment
  • Partner with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deploy processes
  • Play a key role in incident response efforts
  • Participate in architecture reviews

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role
  • Hands-on experience managing containerized applications using Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and how they integrate to support modern applications
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of systems observability
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems
  • Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and containerized environments
