As a seasoned professional in the field of Site Reliability Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure. Key responsibilities include leading incident response, developing comprehensive strategies to minimize downtime, participating in on-call rotations, implementing observability solutions, and maintaining scalable and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure.
Key qualifications for this role include previous experience in DevOps or SRE, exceptional communication skills, proven experience in incident response, expert-level knowledge of Terraform and AWS compute infrastructure, proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, strong understanding of monitoring and performance analysis, and experience with log aggregation and distributed tracing.
Preferred qualifications include experience with incident.io and AWS certifications. Additionally, experience with container orchestration, microservices architecture, and knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments are highly desirable. This is a Monday-Friday position with flexible working hours, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
