Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned editorial professional to support our special coverage team in creating impactful live journalism events, podcasts, and digital content around global development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong editorial judgment and collaborate with senior editors to shape the narrative on key moments in global development.
  • Conduct thorough research to explore issues affecting the global development community and identify innovators and thought leaders for interviews or panels.
  • Help bring issues to life onstage by identifying and recommending speakers who can engage audiences on complex challenges in global development.
  • Manage speaker correspondence, provide strategic support, and maintain meticulous organization of project timelines and communication.
Requirements:
  • Strong editorial expertise and experience editing and curating content that resonates with global development audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in journalism, editorial content creation, and/or event management.
  • Top-notch writing and editing skills, clear and concise communication, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate content management systems and tools.
  • Fluency in the English language (written and spoken).
