We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for administering firewall platforms, ensuring proper functioning, software updates, and patch management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Firewall Administration: Ensure all firewalls are properly configured and functioning as intended.
  • Firewall Configuration and Security Policy Development: Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Cybersecurity Product Management: Configure, manage, and upgrade various security products and appliances, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Use strong TCP/IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  • Tech Support: Respond to inbound requests for technical assistance with managed services in a timely manner (within documented SLA).
  • Documentation: Document actions in cases to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.

Required Technical Experience:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical experience of network security concepts, including threat detection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Significant experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other leading firewall platforms.
  • Working knowledge with VPN technologies, network protocols, and network architecture.

The ideal candidate will have recent professional expertise with several of the following security products: Cisco, Palo Alto, IPTables, Snort, Meraki, Fortinet, Checkpoint, or other technologies.
