Financial Operations Specialist

As a seasoned bookkeeping professional, you will oversee key projects, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure financial operations remain robust. You will also meet deadlines for month-end close.
Key Responsibilities- Review junior bookkeeper outputs for quality and accuracy.
- Lead accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice preparation and approval flows.
- Manage onboarding and cleanup workflows for new client accounts.
- Develop and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal standards.
- Train and coach junior bookkeepers, serving as escalation contact.
- Effectively manage multiple clients and meet all deadlines.
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, full-cycle bookkeeping, and financial cleanup.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and process adherence.
- Strong leadership capability and mentoring experience.
- Track record of creating or refining SOPs and efficient workflows.
