Job Summary:

A Senior Accountant is required to perform end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and rolling out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350, preparing and presenting financial reports for senior leadership, and leading projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform end to end General Ledger Accounting
  • Partner with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting
  • Design and roll out a process for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350
  • Prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership
  • Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements
  • Participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives
  • Take ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed
Requirements
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus)
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com and Credit Card transaction experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism
