Senior Tax Executive Role

We are seeking a highly experienced tax professional to lead complex tax work, mentor junior staff, and drive growth in our firm.

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for independently preparing a wide variety of returns (individual, business, trust, non-profit), reviewing junior staff's work, and communicating with clients professionally via email regarding documentation and questions.

You will also analyze complex tax situations to identify issues, risks, and planning opportunities, use digital tools to manage workflow and client communication seamlessly, and collaborate with partners on advanced planning and high-level tax matters.

Additionally, you will participate in daily team meetings, contribute to planning initiatives, mentor junior team members, and step into growing leadership responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Strong experience preparing multiple types of tax returns independently - 1040, strong QuickBooks experience
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving
  • Exceptional written English communication skills
  • Self-motivated and career-driven—interested in long-term growth
  • Comfortable with digital tools and modern workflow systems
  • Familiarity with ProSeries or similar tax software (a plus)
  • Ready to work extended hours during busy season (January–April)
  • Leadership potential and a passion for mentoring others
