As a Power System Engineer, you will be responsible for performing and directing activities for power system studies in PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory, and Hypersim modelling environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing generator performance standard studies compliant with schedule 5 of the national electricity rules.
  • Preparing technical reports for the generator connection process, including generator performance standard studies, registration, and compliance testing.
  • Designing, project controlling, managing subcontractors, and developing cost-effective engineering solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics, with 3-5 years' experience in full end-to-end delivery of multi-discipline complex high-voltage grid connection projects.

Requirements:
  • Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment.
  • Strong HSEQ focus and passion for delivery and achieving strong results in areas of commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient multitasker with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience using PSCAD Software.
